We are seeking a skilled and versatile Tradesman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of construction skills and experience, enabling them to contribute effectively to various projects. This role requires proficiency in multiple trades, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and masonry. The Tradesman will be responsible for executing tasks with precision and adhering to safety standards while ensuring quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute construction tasks accurately.
Perform plumbing installations and repairs, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations.
Conduct electrical work including installations, troubleshooting, and repairs as needed.
Execute carpentry tasks such as framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, and flooring installation.
Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks.
Carry out concrete forming, finishing, and masonry work as required for project specifications.
Engage in restoration projects including plastering, stucco application, and drywall installation.
Utilize heavy equipment when necessary for site preparation or material handling.
Collaborate with construction management teams to ensure project timelines are met efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
Proven experience in construction trades with a strong understanding of construction management principles.
Familiarity with Procore software for project documentation is a plus.
Hands-on experience with concrete forming, plastering, welding, hardscape installation, tile laying, and flooring installation is desirable.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately for effective project execution.
Strong skills in restoration techniques including caulking and painting are advantageous.
Previous experience on construction sites is essential; candidates should be comfortable working in various weather conditions.
